The ever popular tune from Cabaret, this arrangement is a perfect addition to your concert repertoire. Faithful to the original orchestration and form, this swinging number is suitable for female vocalists, with an option to feature any instrumentalist from the band, Eb instruments preferred. A good understanding of big band style swing is required, with a healthy dose of trombone lines, and there is also an optional Piano part.
Written for Tredegar Town Band and vocalist Siwan Henderson, this arrangement is at an advanced intermediate level and requires a good sense of time and advanced range in the lead players. Sensitivity to the vocalists volume is always suggested when accompanying a soloist, so playing one per part might be encouraged at times.
