Description
A classic children’s tune from my childhood growing up in the Salvation Army, Father Abraham is a catchy melody that also has matching actions. With the focus on fun, this arrangement has many different features, from a Bb Bass solo to start the frivolity, trombones “wolf whistling”, a two note 2nd Horn solo, sleazy plunger work, a truck horn, and conductor choreography to top it all off!
This arrangement was written a long time ago, at the start of my composing journey. I was lucky enough to have the top band at Starlake Music Camp play it when I visited in 2005, and there was a Korean youth band there who actually ended up with the copies from that performance. So who knows, there may be a few copies floating around Asia! But here it is, freshly engraved and ready for your bands stellar performance. The kids will love it!
