Biography

Michael Pilley – Trombonist

Michael Pilley (BMus, University of Melbourne) is a versatile and talented trombonist originally from Australia, now based in the South East, UK and working internationally.  


With performance experience spanning all musical genres at both community and professional levels, Michael is a highly adaptable musician. He is known for his strong sight-reading abilities, an accurate and reliable rhythmic feel, and a keen ear for achieving excellent blend and balance within any ensemble.
